We dropped our container in its forever home this past week!
From Chandler and Tempe to flea markets and festivals, the State Forty Eight container has made its way all over the Valley for the past two years. As fun as it has been to pop in various communities across town, we are beyond thrilled to share that we’ve crane dropped our traveling container shop into its permanent space at The Churchill in Downtown Phoenix.
If you haven’t heard, The Churchill is set to be the Valley’s first micro-marketplace built from repurposed shipping containers –so are you can see, we fit right in! When we learned about this opportunity, there was no question we wanted to be part of it.
With The Churchill, Co-founders Hartley Rodie and Kell Duncan, are looking to create a space where people can connect with the local community—whether that be through a local business like us, various food and drink tenants like Pedal Haus, or through weekly service outings that will benefit a number of organizations and non-profits throughout Phoenix.
We are looking forward to providing you all with a brick-and-mortar space to shop State Forty Eight products. The Churchill is slated to open later this year. Stay tuned for more details – we will share more information as we get closer!
In the meantime, you can check out the progress on the Churchill’s social pages, linked below:
